Who I am

This website belongs to DJ Talbot & Associates Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 04787588, registered office 5 Bramley Close, Olveston, Bristol BS35 4EA). For anything to do with your personal data on this site, the person responsible is Dave Talbot, and you can reach me at dave@dtalbot.com.

What I collect, and why

If you use the contact form or email me, I receive what you send: your name, organisation, email address and message. I use it for one thing: replying to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, doing that work. That is a legitimate interest under UK data protection law.

I don't use your details for marketing, I don't add you to any mailing list, and I never sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.

Who else handles it

The contact form is delivered by Formspree, a form-handling service that passes your message to me; Formspree processes it only to provide that service, under its own privacy policy. My email and files are held in Microsoft's cloud services. Nobody else sees your enquiry.

How long I keep it

Enquiries are kept for 12 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless we've started working together, in which case normal business record-keeping applies.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will change first, and you'll be asked before any non-essential cookie is set.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time what personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to my holding it, or ask for a copy. Email dave@dtalbot.com and I'll deal with it personally.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
